Crypto.com Predict Sign-Up Bonus & Welcome Offer: What New Traders Get | Review
Crypto.com Predict runs on its own CFTC-regulated exchange, CDNA, which also clears trades for other brands. We cover markets, fees, state limits and funding.
Crypto.com Predict does not advertise a fixed welcome bonus on its prediction page. Check the current welcome offer in the app’s Predict tab before you deposit. It is the retail front end of a CFTC-regulated exchange, open to traders aged 21 and over, with trading from $10.
Trading event contracts involves risk of loss. Gambling problem? Call 1-800-GAMBLER. Market availability depends on your location.
Crypto.com Predict welcome offer
Crypto.com’s US prediction page leads with access rather than a bonus: “Start with just $10” across more than 2,000 markets. Crypto.com runs rewards campaigns across its wider app, so check the current welcome offer in the Predict tab, where any new-user promotion appears with its own terms.
If an offer is live, read whether it pays in trading credit or in crypto, how long it lasts and whether event contracts count toward it.

Crypto.com Predict review
Most people know Crypto.com for its arena naming rights and its coin app. Fewer know that its US derivatives arm runs one of the most important pieces of plumbing in prediction markets. Crypto.com | Derivatives North America, or CDNA, is a CFTC-regulated exchange. It lists Crypto.com’s own event contracts and clears trades for Fanatics Markets. Since September 8, 2026, it has also received football contracts routed from Robinhood.
Crypto.com Predict is the retail front end. It lists more than 2,000 markets, charges low fees and lets you fund a position by converting crypto. It is also 21+ only and shut out of two big states.

Who runs Crypto.com Predict
The Crypto.com Prediction page describes each contract as “an event contract that is a derivatives product offered by” Crypto.com | Derivatives North America, “a CFTC-regulated exchange.” CDNA both lists and clears the contracts, making it a vertically integrated venue in the same mold as Kalshi.
The company behind it is Crypto.com Group, founded and run by Kris Marszalek. In September 2026, Robinhood said it would take equity stakes in Crypto.com and its spin-off trading app OG.com. The stakes were priced in line with Citadel Securities’ recent investment at a $20 billion valuation.
The exchange behind other apps
CDNA’s role as infrastructure is what makes Crypto.com worth watching. Fanatics Markets lists and clears its contracts through CDNA. Robinhood announced on September 8, 2026, that it would route a selection of football event contracts to CDNA and to OG.com, alongside Kalshi and its own Rothera venue.
For a trader, that matters in two ways. More order flow from other brands means more liquidity on CDNA’s books. It also means a court ruling against Crypto.com can ripple into apps that do not carry its name.
Markets you can trade
Crypto.com advertises “2,000+ trends” in five groups:
- Politics: mostly national elections and control of Congress.
- Financials: index levels and company outcomes.
- Economics: inflation, rates and jobs data.
- Culture: entertainment and awards.
- Sports: where available in your state.
The app also carries Crypto.com’s short-dated price products, such as Strike Options and UpDown, which sit closer to crypto trading than event contracts.
Fees
Crypto.com’s fees are among the lowest in the category. A standard $1 contract carries an exchange fee of about two cents to open. Larger $10 contracts carry an exchange fee plus a technology fee, and the technology fee is waived if your prediction is correct at expiry. Full fee details sit in the contract specifications linked from each market.
Deposit costs depend on method. ACH is free, wires are free from Crypto.com’s side, and debit or credit cards cost roughly 1.49%. Converting crypto to dollars inside the app carries no deposit fee.
A cheap fee does not mean a cheap trade if the spread is wide. Check the gap between bid and ask before you buy, and use our expected value calculator to see whether a price still makes sense after costs.
Age and state access
You must be 21 or older, which rules out the 18-to-20 crowd that Kalshi, Polymarket US and the sportsbook apps accept.
Crypto.com does not offer event contracts in Arizona or New York. It has made sports contracts unavailable in Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Nevada, New Jersey and Ohio, while other categories stay open there.
Nevada is the sharpest legal risk. On August 28, 2026, the Ninth Circuit ruled that Nevada can enforce its gambling laws against Kalshi, Robinhood and Crypto.com. Our legal states tracker covers that case and the others that could change the map.
Deposits and withdrawals
- ACH transfer: free, one to five days, $1 minimum.
- Instant ACH: free, instant, $20 minimum.
- Debit or credit card: about 1.49%, instant.
- Wire: free from Crypto.com, one to three days.
- Crypto conversion: sell supported coins into dollars instantly.
Withdrawals go to a linked US bank account by ACH, typically in one to three days, with a $100 minimum. Daily and monthly withdrawal caps apply.
The app
Predict appears as a tab in the main Crypto.com app on iOS and Android, and on desktop. If you already hold crypto there, you can move from coins to contracts without leaving the app. The desktop version is more basic and has no search, so most traders will prefer the phone.
A Crypto.com Predict trade, worked through
Say a CPI market asks whether inflation will come in above a set level, and Yes trades at 35 cents on a $1 contract. You buy 100 contracts.
- Cost: $35, plus an exchange fee of about two cents per contract to open, or roughly $2.
- If CPI comes in above the line: you receive $100.
- If it does not: you lose your $35 stake and the fee.
On a cheap contract like this, a two-cent fee is a meaningful share of the price. Crypto.com’s fees look smallest as a share of your stake on contracts priced near the middle of the range.
Why the exchange model matters
Because CDNA is both exchange and clearinghouse, Crypto.com writes its own contract rules, lists them, matches orders and settles them. The contract specifications and CDNA Rules, linked from each market, are the documents that decide your payout.
That self-contained structure is also why other brands plug into it. A broker such as Fanatics can offer contracts without building a venue, and Robinhood can route orders to CDNA alongside Kalshi. More connected brokers can mean more order flow, but it also concentrates legal risk. When the Ninth Circuit ruled for Nevada, Crypto.com was named alongside Kalshi and Robinhood.
Taxes
Profits on event contracts are taxable. If you fund by selling crypto, that sale is a separate taxable event in its own right. Keep records of both, and speak to a tax professional.
Who Crypto.com Predict suits
- Existing Crypto.com customers who want to move from coins to contracts in one app.
- Economics and financials traders, given the depth of its non-sports catalog.
- Low-fee hunters who trade mid-priced contracts.
It does not suit anyone under 21, or anyone in Arizona or New York.
How it compares
Against Kalshi, Crypto.com is cheaper on many contracts but narrower, stricter on age and blocked in more states. Against Polymarket US, it wins for anyone who already keeps funds in the Crypto.com ecosystem, and loses on catalog breadth.
Head-to-head
| App | CFTC role | Age | Trading fee |
|---|---|---|---|
| Crypto.com Predict | DCM and clearinghouse | 21+ | About $0.02 per $1 contract |
| Kalshi | DCM | 18+ | 0.07 × price × (1 − price) |
| Fanatics Markets | FCM (CDNA-cleared) | 21+ | About $0.0034–$0.0275 per contract |
Trading responsibly
Crypto.com puts coins, options and event contracts in one app, which makes it easy to blur the line between investing and wagering. Keep prediction trading to a separate, fixed budget, and do not sell long-term holdings to chase a contract. Gambling problem? Call 1-800-GAMBLER.
Before you deposit
- Check where you are. If you are in Arizona or New York, event contracts will not load. In seven other states, sports will be missing.
- Pick the right rail. Standard ACH is free; cards cost about 1.49%.
- Mind the withdrawal minimum. Cash goes back to a linked US bank account, with a $100 minimum per withdrawal.
- Read the contract specifications. They set the fee, the settlement source and the expiry for each market.
Our verdict on Crypto.com Predict
Crypto.com Predict is a low-cost, well-capitalized exchange with real strategic weight: its CDNA venue sits behind Fanatics and part of Robinhood’s flow. For existing Crypto.com users over 21, it is a natural add-on.
The 21+ rule, the Arizona and New York blackouts and its exposure to the Nevada ruling keep it below the top three. Check your state before you deposit.
One more point in its favor: because CDNA already clears for other brands, Crypto.com has strong commercial reasons to keep investing in the exchange. If the legal picture settles in the industry’s favor, it is well placed to grow its catalog quickly.
