New Jersey online casinos

New Jersey is the largest and most competitive market, with $274.8 million in internet gaming win in September 2026 alone, up 13% on a year earlier. Pennsylvania and Michigan

Pennsylvania reported $249.3 million in online casino revenue in September 2026, and Michigan $300.2 million. Both have broad markets with all the national brands, plus local names such as PlayLive! and Wind Creek in Pennsylvania, and tribal casinos such as FireKeepers and Four Winds in Michigan.

The smaller iCasino states

West Virginia carries most national brands through its lottery. Connecticut has two online casinos, one for each tribal nation: DraftKings for the Mashantucket Pequot and Mohegan Sun, powered by FanDuel. Delaware’s three casinos all run on BetRivers. Rhode Island has one, Bally Casino, live since March 2024.

Maine and the next states

Maine legalized online casinos in January 2026, giving the four Wabanaki Nations exclusive rights. Caesars has announced plans with three of them, pending regulatory approval, and the state was still finalizing its rules in fall 2026. No Maine site was live as of November 2026. Bills in Virginia, Maryland, Massachusetts and other states stalled in 2026.

How to sign up at a real money online casino

1. Be in an iCasino state. You must be 21 or over and physically in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Michigan, West Virginia, Connecticut, Delaware or Rhode Island. Residency is not required.
2. Choose a licensed casino. Download its app from the App Store or Google Play, or use its official website.
3. Register. Give your legal name, address, date of birth and the last four digits of your Social Security number. Enter a Promo Code if the casino publishes one.
4. Pass the location check. Allow location services on your phone, or install the casino’s location plug-in on a computer.

Withdrawals and payment methods

Licensed casinos must verify your identity before paying out. Expect to give your name, address, date of birth and the last four digits of your Social Security number, and occasionally a photo ID or utility bill. Verify early.

Most casinos send withdrawals back to the method you deposited with. E-wallets such as PayPal are usually the fastest, online bank transfers take a few business days, and some casinos also let you collect cash at a partner casino cage. Table games cover blackjack, roulette, baccarat and craps, and live dealer studios stream real tables to your phone. Many casinos also offer video poker, which can return more than most slots when played well.

RTP: which games pay back the most

Return to player, or RTP, is the share of all money wagered that a game pays back over time. Blackjack and video poker with good strategy return the most, often above 99%. Slots usually sit between 90% and 97%. RTP is a long-term average, not a promise for any one session. Check a game’s info screen for its published figure.

Online casino bonuses and Promo Codes

US welcome offers come in four main shapes: deposit matches (BetMGM, Caesars, Borgata, Betinia), bonus spins (FanDuel, Fanatics, Hard Rock Bet), lossback (FanDuel, Hard Rock Bet) and small no-deposit bonuses (Caesars Palace). Real money vs sweepstakes vs offshore casinos

A real money casino holds a state license, pays in cash and answers to a regulator. A sweepstakes casino uses play coins and redeemable prize coins under promotional sweepstakes law. They are available in many states without a gambling license, but New Jersey, New York, California and several others have banned them. Offshore casinos hold no US license at all, and state regulators warn that players have no protection if they refuse to pay.

How to check that an online casino is licensed

Every iCasino state publishes its approved sites. Check the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement, the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board or the Michigan Gaming Control Board’s list of authorized operators. A licensed site shows the regulator’s name and the state helpline in its footer.

Taxes on online casino winnings
