China Dragons Not many drone racing teams host their own races. But that’s what the China Dragons did in 2018 when they hosted the Drone Prix Beijing at the iconic Great Wall of China.
China Dragons boasts some of China’s biggest FPV drone pilots, but they are still waiting for a first tournament win. In their most recent event, the Grand Prix Vaduz at the Breitling Virtual Drone, the China Dragons finished 7th without a single point on the board.
In fact, of their 25 pro Champions League races, the China Dragons have secured just 1 podium finish and no victories. But with a solid, multi-national group of players, it can only be a matter of time before the China Dragons start racking up the wins.
In the most recent DCL, the Dragons featured the likes of Daniel “FPRDan” Ayre from Australia, and Marcel “MARCEL” Gregor and “Thomas, both from Germany.
Ayre came into the 2020 DCL in good form, winning two races in Round 1 of the 2019 DCL. He had beaten 60 other drone pilots in online qualifiers to earn his spot in the China Dragons team.
