easyBet Promo Code EB20: How to Use It for Bet £20 Get £20 in Free Bets
How to use the easyBet Promo Code EB20: settle £20 of bets at evens or bigger across two events and get four £5 free bets, with every key term set out.
The easyBet Promo Code is EB20. Register with it, place and settle £20 of bets at odds of 2.0 or more across at least two different events, and you receive £20 in free bets, paid as four £5 tokens. Singles, multiples and Bet Builders all count towards the £20, which gives more room than the one-bet trigger most bookmakers use.
The offer has two quirks that set it apart. The free bets are earmarked, with one each for football, horse racing, multiples and any market, and easyBet’s terms rule out some trading habits that are common on an exchange. Both are set out below, along with what four £5 tokens are realistically worth and why claiming EB20 closes the door on certain offers from its sister brand, Matchbook.

How to use the easyBet promo code EB20
The offer is tied to the code, so it has to be in place from the first screen. The sequence runs like this:
- Open a new account on easybet.net or one of easyBet’s mobile apps, entering Promo Code EB20 as you register.
- Make a first deposit by debit card or another accepted method. Skrill, Neteller and Paysafecard do not qualify.
- Place bets totalling £20 on easyBet markets, at odds of 2.0 or bigger, spread across at least two different sporting events.
- Let the bets settle before the promotion’s closing date.
- Collect four £5 free bets, which are added to your account once you qualify.
The order matters because each step depends on the one before. A code added after registration will not attach the offer, and only bets on easyBet’s own markets count towards the £20. Two weekend bets are enough. A pair of £10 singles at evens on Saturday’s football, or a racing bet and a football bet at 2.0 or bigger, will clear the requirement as soon as both have settled.
What easyBet is, and why its terms mention laying
easyBet’s Google Play listing calls it a peer-to-peer betting exchange, and it is run by Triplebet Limited, the company behind Matchbook. That explains some of the language in the EB20 terms. On an exchange you can lay a selection, betting that it will lose, as well as back it, and the terms are written to stop customers from qualifying by doing both at once.
For a newcomer the practical effect is simple. The £20 of qualifying bets should be ordinary positions on the outcome you expect, placed at a price of 2.0 or more. Anyone who prefers a conventional sportsbook can still use easyBet that way: singles, multiples and Bet Builders all count.
Which bets count towards the easyBet sign-up offer?
The £20 does not have to be one bet, and in fact it cannot be, because at least two different sporting events must be involved. Two £10 singles at evens on separate football matches qualify, as would a £10 Bet Builder on one game and a £10 double on another, provided each is priced at 2.0 or more.
Two practices are ruled out. Volume traded on the same selection, by backing and laying it, does not count towards the £20. Backing several selections in the same market goes further and disqualifies you from the offer entirely, so two horses in the same race or both teams in the same match will cost you the free bets. The 2.0 minimum price also rules out most favourites, which makes EB20 a little harder to qualify for than offers with a lower threshold.
The four easyBet free bets and how to use them
Unlike most UK sign-up offers, EB20 does not hand over one lump of free bets. The four £5 tokens are split: one for football markets only, one for horse racing markets only, one for multiples and one for any market. The maximum payable is £20 in total.
Each token must be used for its full value in one bet, cannot be withdrawn, and the stake is not returned on a winning bet. easyBet’s terms note that this is reflected in the profit and loss figure on your bet slip. In pounds, a £5 token on an even-money winner returns £5, on a 3/1 winner £15 and on a 4/1 winner £20. Because the stake is kept back, the tokens are worth more on bigger prices.
That has obvious implications for the multiples token. A double or treble where the combined odds do the work turns £5 into a more meaningful sum when it lands, which is the point of reserving one token for multiples. The football and racing tokens are best saved for selections you would have backed anyway at a fair price, and the any-market token gives flexibility for tennis, golf or a second race.
Paying in for EB20: the deposit methods to avoid
Customers who make their first deposit by Skrill, Neteller or Paysafecard will not qualify, and the rule applies only to that first payment. A debit card is the straightforward alternative, and once the offer has been claimed you are free to use another accepted method for later deposits. Credit cards are not an option at any UK operator, following the Gambling Commission ban on gambling with credit cards in April 2020.
easyBet sign-up code exclusions: Matchbook, households and 0% commission
Because easyBet and Matchbook belong to the same company, the terms work across both. Existing customers of easyBet’s sister brands, including Matchbook, cannot claim EB20. Taking part in EB20 also rules you out of any future 0% commission promotions, which matters if you were considering Matchbook’s own COMMFREE110 code later. EB20 cannot be used alongside any other sign-up promotion.
The offer is limited to one per individual, family, household address, email address, payment account and shared computer. Triplebet Limited is named as the promoter and reserves the right to amend or end the promotion.
Is the easyBet welcome offer worth claiming?
For a weekend football and racing punter who likes a Bet Builder or an acca, EB20 is a fair deal. Bet Builders and multiples count towards qualifying, one of the free bets is reserved for multiples, and £20 of genuine bets across two events is not a demanding target. The weaknesses are the 2.0 minimum price, which excludes most favourites, and the split tokens, which give less freedom than a single £20 free bet.
The larger choice is between free bets and cheaper betting. Matchbook offers REBATE20 and COMMFREE110 instead, and claiming EB20 shuts out future 0% commission promotions, so decide before you register. For a bookmaker offer with a lower minimum price, bet365’s 365GMBLR pays £30 in Bet Credits for £10 of bets at 1/5 or bigger. Our free bets comparison sets EB20 against every other UK sign-up offer.
easyBet promo code for existing customers
EB20 is a new-customer code only. It is attached at registration and cannot be added to an account that already exists, and Matchbook customers count as existing customers for this purpose.
Who runs easyBet: Triplebet and the UK licence
easyBet is a trading name of Triplebet Limited, account number 39504 on the Gambling Commission public register. Its remote licences cover betting intermediary, general betting, pool betting and casino, and the register lists www.easybet.net among its domains.
