Bingo Apps UK: Real Money Bingo Apps Rated on the App Store and Google Play, and the Sites With None
The real money bingo apps from UK-licensed sites, rated on the App Store and Google Play, with what each app does well and which brands are browser-only.
Most bingo in Britain is now played on a phone, which makes the app as important as the welcome offer. We checked the UK App Store and Google Play listings for all twelve licensed bingo sites we compare. Four have well-rated apps with thousands of reviews, two have Android apps with few reviews, and six have no app listing at all and are played in the browser.
The ratings tell an uneven story. Heart Bingo’s iPhone app scores 4.8, yet the same app sits at 3.2 on Google Play; Mecca’s falls from 4.4 to 2.6. Betfred, which has no dedicated bingo app, holds the most consistent scores of all. Below we compare the numbers, look at what each app actually offers a bingo player, and explain how to make sure the app you download belongs to a licensed operator.

UK bingo app ratings on the App Store and Google Play
Ratings and review counts are as shown on the UK stores on 4 November 2026. Ratings move over time, so a small difference between two apps matters less than the number of reviews behind each score.
| App | App Store (UK) | Google Play | Publisher |
|---|---|---|---|
| Heart Bingo: Casino & Slots | 4.8 (11k ratings) | 3.2 (1.9k) | BV Gaming Limited |
| Betfred Sports, Casino & Games | 4.6 (70k) | 4.6 (17.3k) | Betfred |
| Mecca Bingo: Slots & Casino | 4.4 (33k) | 2.6 (2.4k) | Mecca Bingo Ltd |
| Wink Bingo | 4.3 (1.3k) | 4.4 (937) | Broadway Gaming Ireland DF Limited |
| Kitty Bingo Online Bingo Games | Not listed | 3.6 (21) | The Rank Group Plc |
| Lucky Pants Bingo Online Games | Not listed | No rating shown | The Rank Group Plc |
Betfred’s figures stand out for their weight as well as their level: 70,000 ratings on iPhone and 17,300 on Android, both averaging 4.6. Heart and Mecca score well on iPhone from large samples but noticeably lower on Android, while Wink is the only app here that rates slightly higher on Google Play. Kitty’s 3.6 rests on just 21 reviews, too few to read much into.
Heart, Betfred, Mecca and Wink: the bingo apps reviewed
-
Heart Bingo
Heart’s app has the strongest App Store rating among our sites, at 4.8 from 11,000 ratings, and is published by BV Gaming Limited, the BetVictor company that holds Heart’s licence. Its listing covers 90, 80, 75 and 50-ball games, with Feel Good, Turbo Tunes and Vibe With 75 open around the clock from 1p a ticket, a Newbie Room with bonus prizes and a free room with an “Everyone Wins” feature. Two Deal or No Deal rooms carry a guaranteed £10,000 jackpot once a month, and the 90-ball Weekly Wonder runs on Saturday nights.
Alongside bingo are more than 2,500 slots, including the exclusive Heart Make Me a Millionaire jackpot, Slingo titles and live casino. The Android version, with more than 100,000 downloads, scores far lower at 3.2. New players who join through the app can claim 500 free bingo tickets with Promo Code HEART when they deposit and play £10, with winnings paid as cash.
-
Betfred
Betfred has no standalone bingo app. Bingo lives inside its Sports, Casino & Games app, which is the best-reviewed app here on both stores: 4.6 from 70,000 ratings on the App Store and 4.6 from 17,300 on Google Play, where it has more than a million downloads. The listing promises 15 bingo rooms with progressive jackpots in every room, and the lobby includes 80-ball, 40-ball and 36-ball games alongside 90-ball.
The all-in-one approach suits players who also bet on sport, since one login and one balance cover everything, though those who want a bingo-only experience may find the lobby busier than a dedicated app. Betfred’s bingo welcome offer, claimed with Promo Code BINGO100, gives a £10 bingo bonus wagered once and 100 free tickets.
-
Mecca Bingo
Mecca’s main app scores 4.4 from 33,000 ratings on the App Store but just 2.6 on Google Play, the widest gap of any app here, despite more than 500,000 Android downloads. Mecca’s mobile page links only to Google Play for Android, and also lists a separate Mecca Slots app and a My Mecca app for its clubs.
Through the main app you get the same rooms as the website, including Penny Lane with 1p tickets and nightly free bingo from 8pm to 9pm, Main Event and the network Gold Bingo room, and the same fast withdrawals, with most paid within 15 minutes. The welcome offer is the cheapest of the twelve sites we compare: a £20 bingo bonus and a £10 Club Voucher for a £5 deposit and spend, with Promo Code MECCA.
-
Wink Bingo
Wink is unusual in scoring slightly higher on Google Play, 4.4, than on the App Store, 4.3, though from fewer reviews than the big names. Recent updates added pre-buy, which lets you buy tickets for later games in advance, a redesigned rewards panel and new tournaments. The app carries Wink’s chat rooms and its Shop Coins loyalty scheme, which pays one coin per £1 played on bingo.
Rooms run from 2p tickets in Flip It to 25p in The Weekender. New players who deposit £10 with Promo Code WINK50 receive a £50 bingo bonus, though its 10x wagering and five-day expiry make it best suited to regular players.
-
Kitty Bingo
Kitty says its app is available for Android and iOS, but we could find only the Google Play listing, rated 3.6 from 21 reviews, with more than 5,000 downloads. The listing covers 90, 80, 75, 50, 40 and 36-ball games and the loyalty scheme, which pays one point per £1 played on slots, scratchcards and arcade games, with 1,000 points exchangeable for a slot bonus. Promo Code KITTY brings a £35 bingo bonus or 100 free spins for a £10 spend.
-
Lucky Pants Bingo
Lucky Pants has a Google Play app published by Rank, with more than 5,000 downloads but no rating shown. On iPhone, play through the mobile site, which carries the same 24-hour chat rooms, Speed Bingo and nightly free bingo in Penny Paradise. New players choose a £35 bingo bonus or 100 free spins for a £10 spend, with no Promo Code needed.
Bingo sites without an app: Dotty and the ProgressPlay brands
We found no UK App Store app for Dotty Bingo or for the five ProgressPlay brands: Queen’s, ChitChat, Panda, Vampire and Wombat. They are played in your phone’s browser, with the same account and welcome offers as on desktop, so a browser player loses nothing on bonuses. Search results for these names also turn up unrelated “Panda Bingo” and “Wombat” games from other developers, which are not the licensed sites, and Dotty’s name is shared with an unrelated puzzle game. If in doubt, download only through a link on the operator’s own website.
What to look for in a real money bingo app
Start with the name of the publisher on the store listing. It should match the licence holder in the site’s footer or a company in the same group, such as BV Gaming for Heart, Broadway Gaming Ireland DF Limited for Wink and The Rank Group for Kitty and Lucky Pants. A mismatch is the clearest sign that an app is not what it claims.
After that, the useful features are the ones that make a small budget last. Penny rooms and nightly free sessions matter more than a large lobby, and pre-buy, as on Wink, saves sitting through every game. Payout speed carries over from the website: Mecca, Lucky Pants and Kitty pay most withdrawals within 15 minutes, and Heart’s Visa FastFunds payments arrive within 30 minutes of approval. Finally, deposit limits, time-outs and self-exclusion should be reachable inside the app, not only on the desktop site.
Real money bingo apps versus prize apps
Search for a bingo app that pays real money and you will also see games that promise cash prizes through tournaments or advertising. In Great Britain, real money bingo must be run by an operator licensed by the Gambling Commission, and the app must check your age and identity before you can play. The apps on this page all come from licensed operators. You can confirm any operator on the Gambling Commission’s public register, where its domains and licence status are listed.
Claiming a bingo welcome offer through an app
Welcome offers apply whether you join on the app or the website, and the same Promo Codes work in both. Heart’s App Store listing says its new-customer offers are for UK residents aged 18 and over who sign up through the app, and apply to deposits made by card and Apple Pay. The usual payment exclusions still apply on mobile: PayPal and Paysafecard deposits do not count for the Rank offers, and Betfred’s bingo offer needs a debit card. Our bingo promo codes guide explains where each code goes.

Setting limits and getting help with gambling
An app on your phone makes bingo easy to reach at any hour, which is a good reason to set a deposit limit as soon as you register. You must be 18 or over, and every app here checks your identity first. GAMSTOP blocks you from every licensed UK site and app at once, and GambleAware and the National Gambling Helpline on 0808 8020 133 offer free, confidential support.

FAQ
What is the best bingo app in the UK?
Of the UK bingo sites we compare, Heart Bingo's app has the highest App Store rating, 4.8 from 11,000 ratings. Betfred's all-in-one app scores 4.6 on both the App Store and Google Play from the largest number of reviews, and includes 15 bingo rooms.
Can I win real money on bingo apps?
Yes, on apps from operators licensed by the Gambling Commission, such as Heart, Mecca, Wink and Betfred. They use the same account and cash balance as the website. Be wary of apps that promise cash prizes but are not run by a licensed UK operator.
Do all bingo sites have an app?
No. We found no UK App Store listing for Dotty Bingo or the ProgressPlay brands (Queen's, ChitChat, Panda, Vampire and Wombat), which are played in a mobile browser. Betfred has no separate bingo app; bingo is inside its main app.
Are bingo apps available on Android?
Heart, Mecca, Wink, Betfred, Kitty and Lucky Pants all have Google Play listings. Android ratings tend to be lower than iPhone ratings for the same app: Mecca scores 4.4 on the App Store and 2.6 on Google Play.
Is the app better than the mobile site?
Apps load faster and can remember your login, and some carry app-only features such as pre-buy on Wink. The mobile site needs no download and gives the same account, offers and cash balance, so it is a fine choice if storage is tight.
Can I claim a welcome offer on a bingo app?
Yes. Welcome offers apply whether you join on the app or the website. Heart's app notes that its new-customer offers apply to deposits made by card and Apple Pay.
