Read across the table and the slots route looks cleaner, because anything the 50 spins win goes straight into the cash balance. But the spins are worth £5 at face value, 50 at 10p each, while the bingo bonus is worth £20 before any wagering. For someone who came for the bingo, the bonus is the reason to sign up. 3. Choose by playing. There is no button to press. Spend £5 across the selected bingo rooms within seven days of the deposit for the bingo bonus, or on the King Kong Cash slots for the spins.
4. Collect the bonus and the voucher. The bingo bonus lands in your account, and a QR code for the £10 Club Voucher arrives by email within 72 hours, so check that your contact details are correct.

The second step is the one that costs people the offer. Mecca’s terms say that if a further deposit is made before you qualify, you become ineligible for this offer and every other Mecca welcome offer. So if part of the first £5 goes on a game outside the qualifying list, topping up to finish the spend does not rescue the bonus; it ends it. The safest approach is to deposit, go straight to a qualifying room and spend the full £5 there.

What 5x wagering on the Mecca bingo bonus means in pounds

The £20 bonus must be played through five times on bingo before anything it wins can be withdrawn. That is £100 of bingo spend within 30 days of the bonus landing, or roughly £3.35 a day if spread evenly across the month.

How far £100 goes depends on the room. At 5p a ticket in Main Event it buys 2,000 tickets; at 1p in Penny Lane it buys 10,000. That makes Mecca’s wagering one of the more forgiving requirements in UK bingo, particularly for a player who sticks to penny games. The order in which balances are used matters too. Penny Lane is the obvious place to make £100 of wagering last, and its free hour every evening costs nothing at all. It can be used once, gives no change, has no cash value and cannot be combined with another offer. It must be claimed within the dates printed on it, and it is one per player: taking this voucher rules out any other Mecca welcome voucher. PayPal cannot be used for a first deposit at Mecca at all, so it rules itself out of the welcome offer twice over. Its £10 minimum would also double the outlay the offer is built around. Paysafecard takes a £5 deposit but cannot be used to withdraw, and it is excluded from the offer too.

Mecca says most withdrawals are processed instantly and reach your bank within 15 minutes. Card withdrawals that are not eligible for fast payouts take one to three working days. Mecca Bingo online is run by Rank Interactive (Gibraltar) Limited, which holds Gambling Commission account 57924. The public register entry shows a remote licence covering bingo, casino, gambling software and general betting, active since March 2022, with the head office given as Rank Group in Maidenhead. The weaknesses are practical rather than hidden: PayPal users cannot take part, a second deposit before qualifying kills the offer, and the voucher is only worth having if a Mecca club is within reach.
